World Wide Leader in Sports Has a Common Sense Deficit

Sometimes you have to wonder if monkeys are running the world. ESPN, the self-appointed worldwide leader in sport, has an expansive amount of games to show each college football Saturday and a limited number of channels; so deciding which ones to televise is a hard decision. But sometimes its just common sense.
When Rutgers plays Connecticut in a game with major implications, so it would make sense to show at least regional coverage of the game. Considering its a game with two good teams from the tri-state area, showing it in that region would be a good idea to garner some ratings. Instead they are showing it on ESPNU, a channel available mostly on college cable providers in NJ and most likely Connecticut and NY as well. But to make it even worse, ESPN has decided to show the game on its main channel in a few selected regions. Those lucky few just happen to be Arizona, California and Nevada. Tell me how that makes sense?
